At this time, tribal enrollment for individuals without an immediate family connection to a currently enrolled citizen remains closed.
Our enrollment has been open for more than five years, and we are now taking the necessary time to review our records, strengthen documentation requirements, and update our enrollment policies to ensure accuracy and protect the integrity of our Nation. Because this process is extensive and must be done carefully, we do not have a projected date for reopening enrollment to the general public.
When the Tribe is ready to accept new applications, we will make an official announcement through our website and communication channels. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to preserve the stability and authenticity of our community.
We are unable to conduct genealogy research for the public. Until we officially announce OPEN ENROLLMENT, we strongly encourage you to use available platforms and free research resources to trace your family history and gather documentation that supports direct lineage to the Pueblos in Sonora.
Our Tribal Constitution is an internal governing document. Under Tribal Law, it is reserved for tribal members and is not required to be made public. For this reason, it is not posted on our website. Only enrolled members receive this document during the enrollment process and may request access through the appropriate tribal channels.
